The Rose Melnick Medical Museum at Youngstown State University collects, preserves, and interprets the history of medicine, especially as it relates to Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, Ohio. The Museum houses approximately 10,000 items that include artifactual and archival materials that document the history and practice of medicine, dentistry, nursing and pharmacy from the 1700s to the present. A sampling of those materials are available in this community.
