dc.description.abstract	Presented are the minutes of the 124th meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees. This was a regular meeting. Included are supporting exhibits. Highlights included: resolutions to approve staff/faculty appointments, and to accept gifts to YSU. Presidential, executive, and committee reports followed. The Board further resolved: to grant a faculty improvement leave to Dr. David Cliness (Counseling); to define the role of the McDonough Art Museum (as not being in competition with the Butler Institute of American Art, across the street); to release $1,000 to support the Governor’s Peace and Conflict Management Commission; to approve amended budgets for Academic Challenge and the Jambar; to grant funding to Counseling and Health Services and Financial Aids and Scholarships; to establish Summer 1988 Sports Camp budgets; to transfer Fund One money to various areas of administrative support; to confer an honorary degree upon William G. Lyden, Jr.; and et cetera.	en_US
