December 14, 1990: Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Minutes

Abstract

Presented are the minutes of the 143rd meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees. This was a regular meeting. Included are supporting exhibits. During this session, student trustee James R. Dull was administered the oath and took his seat on the Board. Highlights included: resolutions to approve staff/faculty appointments, to accept gifts to YSU. Presidential, executive, and committee reports followed. The Board further resolved: to transfer property to Developing Potential, Inc.; to revise the Athletics concessions budget; to set tuition and fees; to transfer funds to the library for security upgrades; to transfer funds to the Housing Services budget; to register the University trademark and to create a licensing program; to amend the University travel policy; to donate $1,500 to the Cooperative Campus Ministry’s free clinic; to establish affiliated scholar status; to refund fees to students called to active military duty (Operation DESERT SHIELD); and to develop a rental scheme for University facilities by non-YSU organizations.
