dc.description.abstract	Senate Chairperson Chet Cooper presided. Nominations for Senate Chairperson, members of the Charter and Bylaws Committee, and the Ohio Faculty Council Representative were taken. Bob Hogue was appointed as Secretary and David Porter was appointed as Parliamentarian. The Executive Senate Committee reported on filling vacancies and on forming an ad hoc committee to address the huge paper usage for course and program proposals. Sharon Stringer discussed upcoming events for the YSU Academy Team. In New Business, a resolution was brought to the Senate to revise the mission of Youngstown State University in light of a new set of comparable institutions. The resolution was moved to table.
