  • Base Hospital 31 Glass Slides
    Base Hospital 31 was established, furnished, and staffed by citizens of Youngstown in Contrexeville, France during World War I. From there they treated many wounded Allied soldiers from the Eastern front. One of the officers in the unit took these photographs of the group's activities during their training and service from September 1917 to April 1919.
