Abstract:
Presented are the minutes of the 212th meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees on September 15, 2000. This was a regular meeting. President Sweet reported on the first sixty days of his presidency and the new era, beginning with the new semester-based academic calendar. Committee reports followed. The Board resolved: to amend the student fees and charges and refund procedure; to authorize the purchase of properties for campus improvement; to support the urban partnership between YSU and the Youngstown Symphony Society; to accept development gifts; and to ratify faculty/staff appointments.
