Issue 2: Dr. J.P. Harvey summarizes the report of the Committee on the Cost of Medical Care. Drs. W.J. Colbert and L.L. Hall are in the hospital. Dr. A.E. Brant was elected President of the Union Medical Association. Dr. Herman Zeve started a post-graduate course. Dr. A. Rosapepe was appointed to an insurance examining board. The Health Commissioner writes an article on the smallpox epidemic. Dr. E. Starr Judd will speak on acute cholecystitis. Dr. C.E. Beight explains what care is covered by the State Department.
Issue 3: Post Graduate Day will feature doctors from Memorial Hospital and focus on cancer. The Public Health Committee urges private doctors to do health exams and immunizations. Dr. Louis Karnosh will speak on brain function. Drs. E.L. Keyes, E.E. Kirkwood, John Heberding, R.R. Morrall, F.W. McNamara, Saul Tamarkin, and E.C. Goldcamp will present clinical demonstrations.
