dc.description.abstract Issue 1: A list of newly elected officers and committees. Dr. Fielding Garrison will speak about the history of medicine. Drs. George Davis, Henry Sisek, Walter Mermis, and Peter McOwen have applied for membership. Issue 2: Dr. J.P. Harvey summarizes the report of the Committee on the Cost of Medical Care. Drs. W.J. Colbert and L.L. Hall are in the hospital. Dr. A.E. Brant was elected President of the Union Medical Association. Dr. Herman Zeve started a post-graduate course. Dr. A. Rosapepe was appointed to an insurance examining board. The Health Commissioner writes an article on the smallpox epidemic. Dr. E. Starr Judd will speak on acute cholecystitis. Dr. C.E. Beight explains what care is covered by the State Department. Issue 3: Post Graduate Day will feature doctors from Memorial Hospital and focus on cancer. The Public Health Committee urges private doctors to do health exams and immunizations. Dr. Louis Karnosh will speak on brain function. Drs. E.L. Keyes, E.E. Kirkwood, John Heberding, R.R. Morrall, F.W. McNamara, Saul Tamarkin, and E.C. Goldcamp will present clinical demonstrations. William Bunn summaries the American College of Physicians meeting. Drs. R.D. Gibson and William Taylor are sick. Issue 4: Post Graduate Day issue. Louis Deitchman comments on the exclusion of Jewish doctors in Germany. Drs. C.R. Clark and A. Rosapepe are sick. R.D.
