dc.description.abstract YSU celebrates Hispanic Heritage month. YSU student, Jenna Roesch, raises money for charity with "Dare to Donate" challenge. Jambar interviews James Yukech, the new chief information officer and interim associate vice president of Information Technology. Various student organizations requested funding for out-of-state conferences from Student Government. YSU students worry about family and friends in the path of Hurricane Matthew. YSU students and community members attended the "mock election" themed Phantoms hockey game at the Covelli Centre. Jambar has a Q & A with Ryan Melquist, a solo artist and the lead sing of the band Qwister. Performances were give by Adia Victoria at the B&O Station and Stacie Mickens, of the Dana faculty, at the Bliss Recital Hall. E-sports, online gaming tournaments, is featured. Sports features Darien Townsend, and the YSU Football team squaring off against the University of Northern Illinois. en_US
