dc.description.abstract Ground is broken on the University Edge Phase Two student apartments and a new campus bookstore. Maag library works to make students suggestions a reality. Full Spectrum Community Outreach is a new support center aiming to make the LGBT community in Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties feel welcomed and supported. Students offer suggestions to improve communications on campus. A city-wide project is underway to build a city-owned amphitheater, a river front park and revitalization of Phelps and Hazel streets. YSU physics students presented research at the OSAPS meeting. Local high school students came to YSU to attend MathFest. TV actresses Kate Mulgrew and Taylor Schilling spoke about why they are voting for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton at The Federal. The YSU jazz ensemble gives their first fall performance of the season. A Q&A is given of freelance photojournalist/documentary photographer, Steven Rubin. Former NBA referee Tim Donaghy speaks to YSU student-athletes about gambling. YSU football team faces off with South Dakota State. en_US
