dc.description.abstract | According to a campus climate survey, faculty and staff desire radical changes in senior leadership. Students recovering from addiction forces them to drop out. A committee is formed to implement solutions to improve the campus climate. YSU is searching for a new chairperson for the department of computer sciences and information systems. Professor Sracic gives his view on the 2016 presidential elections. Veteran Programs offered by YSU are featured. The YSU website receives a major upgrade. A new stand alone YSU bookstore is scheduled to open during the 2017-2018 school year. The Clarence R. Smith Mineral Museum is being renovated. The National Novel Writing Month is taking place in November. YSU Dance Club presents "Danza de la Noche." YSU hosts a coaches vs. cancer event.
