dc.description.abstract The YSU football team hopes to win against Jacksonville State to advance to the Football Championship Subdivision Playoff quarterfinals. One of the four YSU Moot Court Teams advances to the nationals. Megan Evans wins a prestigious sociology award. YSU's newest Board of Trustees member is Anita Hackstedde. YSU will begin using ALEKS to replace the ACT developed Compass Placement Test. World AIDS Day is looked at. YSU takes first in the Regional Ethics Bowl. The use of swear words handled in our culture and in the presidential campaign is looked at. The Dana Chamber Winds and Wind Ensemble will present "Winter Dusk" at Stambaugh Auditorium. A Q&A with the Santa Shuffle Event Coordinator, Kelly Morocco, is given. YSU's long night against procrastination at Maag Library takes place December 1. YSU's Bowling team ranks in the top 25. Men's basketball team looks to rebound against Robert Morris after losing to Canisius College. Former YSU quarterback, Tom Zetts, recounts YSU's 2006 Playoff run. en_US
