dc.description.abstract	Details on the December 18 Commencement ceremonies are given. Discussion are held with YSU's new deans : Phyllis Paul (CCAC), Wim Steelant (STEM) and Kristine Blair (CLASS). Shuiping Jiang is the new assistant director of International Admissions and Recruitment at YSU. Women's role in leadership in the Mahoning Valley is looked at. Criminal Justice graduates are entering a changing profession. Stone Fruit Coffee Espresso Bar opens on Lincoln Avenue. A Local Hack Day at YSU took place over the weekend. Students stand strong against discrimination. YSU's Dana School of Music held its annual Carols and Cocoa event. The Youngstown State University Theme park Engineering Group is featured. The YSU womens basketball team lost to Akron in overtime. The YSU mens basketball team lost to Michigan State University. The Penguin football team advances to the FCS playoff semifinals.	en_US
