dc.description.abstract Changes and challenges are presented in the annual State of the University Address. Bryce Saunders, a political science student at YSU, was awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to study abroad in the Middle East. The YSU football team were not the only penguins in Texas for the Championship game, but also the cheerleaders, majorettes, flag line and the Marching Pride YSU band.The Youngstown Environmental Sustainability Society (YESS) has been working to make the greenhouse on the YSU campus functional again. YSU will be the first college to offer a business simulation program to undergraduate students through a partnership between the Business Strategy Game and YSU's Entrepreneurship Center. YSU hosts is 15th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Diversity breakfast on January 19.Jambar interviews Maggie Meiners, an award winning photographer from Chicago. Students review video games.Penguin Nights present Casino night with a dance party attached to a mock casino. The YSU men's basketball team prep for the Valparaiso University game at home. YSU women's basketball team is hoping to start a winning streak after being on a three game losing streak. James Madison University capitalizes on YSU's mistakes during the Football Championship Subdivision game. en_US
