dc.description.abstract Minerva Cordero, the associate dean of Academic Affairs at the University of Texas at Arlington, was the keynote speaker for the STEM career day. YSU's Ethics Bowl team placed second at the national level for the second consecutive year at the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl in Dallas. The City Club of the Mahoning Valley held a panel discussion titled, "The Future of Public Education in Ohio's Cities." John Kiriakou presented "Ethics in Intelligence Operation" to the YSU community. A new entrepreneur program called N.E.W.S. Block will be up and running in the city by the end of summer. To encourage prescription safety, YSU created policies that prevent medication from being transferred to those without medical clearance. A Q&A is given with Amanda Miller of YSU's Writing Center. Activities for Youngstown's Shamrock on the Block will take place on St. Patrick's Day. Sam Gregory, YSU music education student, is featured. YSU had its pro day to showcase talent to NFL team scouts. YSU first baseman, Andrew Kendrick, is featured. YSU men's golf team seasons begins. en_US
