dc.description.abstract The Association of Classified Employees have been negotiating their contract since August 14. The Delta Zeta chapter held a benefit concert at Suzie's Dogs & Drafts for the Starkey Hearing Foundation. A death was confirmed on campus outside of Stambaugh Stadium September 22. Carmella Marie's fourth annual Let's Talk Hair: The Mane Event was held on campus Saturday. The Simeon Booker Award for Courage was given to Ken Nwakike Jr. and Terry Vicars. At least 2500 people gathered at the Out of Darkness Walk to raise suicide awareness. The Seventh annual Nonviolence Parade and Rally took place. Jambar interviews Paul Patterson, monster designer and owner of Steel Valley Nightmare and Escape. Special Effects makeup is looked at for Halloween. Local photographers, Ron Cabuno, Paul Grilli and Stephen Poullas will have an art show at the Soap Gallery. Ma'lik Richmond is eligible to play for the YSU football team after YSU representatives and Richmond reached an agreement to settle the federal lawsuit filed by Richmond. YSU is trying to break a Guinness World Record by having the largest gathering of people dressed as penguins. The YSU football team hits the road this weekend going against the University of South Dakota. New swimming and diving coach Ryan Purdy is interviewed. YSU women's soccer saw a great start to a frustrating finish. en_US
