dc.description.abstract The Youngstown State University Board of Trustees and the Ohio Education Association reached an agreement on Friday when the board of trustees unanimously approved the faculty contract. Crime statistics at YSU are looked at. Four candidates for Youngstown Mayoral race are introduced. President Jim Tressel drives around campus occasionally giving students rides in his John Deer Gator. The Youngstown community comes together for the annual Youngstown Peace Race. Jeff Steward, director and coordinator of the Immigrant Workers Project, detailed his work and dedication to immigrants adjusting to new life in the United States. The life of a bartender is looked at. Youngstown Cinema, located on the third floor of the Knox building, features an array of movies from independent and vintage films to local movies. YSU students came out to see a runway with history with a Vintage fashion Show on Oct. 18. The YSU football team hopes to regroup in the Homecoming game at the Ice Castle. YSU Cross Country teams will compete this weekend in the Horizon League Championships. The YSU men's basketball team looked good in the scrimmage game against Thiel College. en_US
