dc.description.abstract | Dr. Coffield asked for the deans recommendations in choosing the recipient of the Roemer Award for outstanding male scholar. It was questioned as to whether or not students be required to attend commencement. There was a discussion on the inclusion of instructors names on the schedules. Dean Miller asked if any statute of limitations existed on admitting students with transfer credits. Dr. Foster was authorized to set a cut-off date for those planning to attend graduation in June. Dean Dykema proposed that orientation be set up so that students must attend in order to register. Dean Edgar announced a resolution be adopted to adjust the summer schedule to take care of the Youngstown public school teachers. Summer school enrollment trends indicated a larger enrollment than the previous year. The deans were asked to make a list of changes that should have been made but were not in the computer center so that Dr. Jonas can check them. | en_US |
