dc.description.abstract	The Senate Executive Committee reported Dr. Ortiz, a thought leader, was designated to give an open keynote session in the auditorium of Williamson at 1:00 pm. There was a national meeting to form a National Confederation of Faculty Senate. The Academic Standards Committee reported on a proposal to change the pre-nursing admission criteria. The Academic Events Committee recommended the addition of an Honors College banner and gonfalon at YSU's graduation beginning with the December 2018 ceremony. Unfinished Business included the re-envisioning General Education Working Group. New Business included a Liberal Leave Policy, Provost Search Information, Top Hat Discussions, and an address given by President Tressel.	en_US
