dc.description.abstract Mr. Snyder reported on the World Affair Forum to be held at the Youngstown Playhouse May 10-21. Dr. Edgar appointed an ad hoc committee to study the relation of student independent study credit to faculty teaching load. It was moved that the University Curriculum Committee study the general education requirements with the intent of allowing the professional schools to establish their general education requirements based on the requirements of the accrediting agencies of the individual schools. Dr. Edgar asked Dean Scriven to redistribute for further study the Academic Dean's Council regulations of class scheduling. en_US
