dc.description.abstract | Vice President Edgar provided the deans with Miami University's report on the "early semester plan," a report on library organization, and a statement of purpose from the Task Force on higher education. Formal guidelines for the coming summer budget were to be distributed. It was agreed that the 10 week summer semester continue. N.S.F. grant for sciences has been received. The possibility of scheduling all classes on a 4 day basis was discussed with Vice President Edgar delegating Deans Yozwiak and Scriven to the task of reviewing the 4 day week. A lengthy discussion of priorities in University budgeting was held. | en_US |
