dc.description.abstract	Dr. Edgar announced a College Entrance Examination Board Workshop for Financial Aid Officers, Placement, and Admissions Officers, dealing with recruitment of students was to be held. Dr. Baldino was present to discuss a course, "Introduction to College." Dr. Edgar reported that at the Chancellor's recent meeting with Presidents of State Universities, plans were announced for working on a revision of the Subsidy Formula. A new statement of policy on transfer credit was discussed. Council agreed that the changes in the area requirements approved by the Senate should become effective immediately. The University has been requested to extend privileges of attending classes and Special Events to the elderly. Dean Yozwiak lodged some complaints about the conditions in Strouss Auditorium for Late and Final Registration.	en_US
