Dr. Alderman distributed copies of a document entitle "Article VIII (Revised), Assignments, Responsibilities, and Loads" dated 2/08/77. Dr. Edgar made general reference to a letter received from Mr. Byo concerning the desirability of the University issuing statements for IRS purposes pertaining to faculty and administrators having office space in their homes. Dean Paraska's concerns about the section on grade requirements and probation of the YSU 1976-77 "Bulletin" were discussed. Reference was made to Dean Sutton's memorandum dated January 27, 1977, on proposed changes in grading policy. Dr. Edgar was requested to circulate to members of the Council individual written comments on the Ad Hoc Committee's proposal on advisement previously submitted to him by the Deans. Dean Yozwiak presented a revision of the guidelines for the compensation of chairpersons during the Summer Quarter. |
