dc.description.abstract | Dr. Edgar solicited the Deans' opinion about receptions for commencement. Consensus favored having receptions after both winter and spring commencements. Dean Rand raise the question of whether something more should be done to recognize master's degree recipients at commencement. Dean Paraska asked for suggestions for an individual (from the administration) who would serve on an ad hoc committee to study the early quarter semester. Considerable discussion was held on the proposal for long-range academic planning. Mr. Doctor, who is the new Director of the Computer Center, was introduced and invited to describe a proposed budget which he has worked up for the coming fiscal year. | en_US |
