dc.description.abstract Several students, who were introduced by McBriarty, had attended the Bethany Conference, and were to discuss student advising. The deans generally conceded that complaints about "poor advising" may have been inherent in institutions like YSU, but improvement was still possible. The nomination deadline for Watson Merit Awards was set established at March 1. A pay scale for limited service faculty was to be discussed at the next meeting. The computation to determine class honors was to remain unchanged. Edgar distributed a memo from Glunt on deficit account balances, which requested that these deficits be remedied by transfer of funds as soon as possible. Alderman distributed material pertaining to procedural matters on chairmen whose 5-year terms were to expire at the end of the academic year. en_US
