Academic Deans Council Minutes : October 24, 1978

Abstract

Dean Salata issued comments on the conservation efforts of last winter, vandalism, new light fixtures, opening of the new Wick parking deck, fire exits, and building security. Dean Paraska asked for the consideration of a sidewalk from the parking deck to the door on the northwest corner of Cushwa Hall. Hugh Frost reported on problems and concerns involved with out affirmative action program. Dr. Edgar asked the deans who had yet to submit the forms for work load reductions for non-teaching duties to do so. A discussion ensued concerning Sutton's request concerning registration practices utilized at the tally board. Scriven moved, Sutton seconded, that Sutton's suggestions together with his memo as well as the reference to contracting the dean be the new policy. The motion was approved.
