The academic calendar and re-organization of the Senate were announced. Proposals for enrollment controls in education, engineering and business administration were discussed. Dr. Gillis distributed two forms for evaluation of performance, for use with Department Chairmen. Inadequate money was budgeted for Faculty Overload. The President requested a comprehensive policy developed for commencement activities such as recognizing masters degree candidates. New Business included: College-Around-Town Program, Martorana report, student admission, computer assisted instruction, limit on credits allowed towards graduation from career planning courses, and advising. |
