dc.description.abstract | Drs. Scriven and Humphrey explained their proposal for changes in the admission systems particularly the modification of undergraduate application procedures and deadlines. Dr. Gillis solicited opinions from the Deans on the reorganization of the Senate and on possible modifications of the Chairperson Evaluation systems. It was agreed that the Vice President should recommend to the President that individual recognition be given masters degree recipients at commencement. The Vice President was to schedule a discussion with each Dean regarding his 1981-1982 budget. Dr. Gillis was reminded that guidelines would be needed soon because summer schedules are due in a month. A memo from the Registrar regarding section size allotment was distributed. It was announced Deans' List cards would be signed by the individual Deans. Vice President Gillis requested that each Dean provide him with an analysis of the impact of an eight-week summer session on operation support costs. | en_US |
