dc.description.abstract | Mary B. Smith was introduced as the Coordinator of the 1982-1983 Diamond Jubilee Year. Modifications were expected to the new Senate committee structure and charges. June 4 was the deadline for limited service faculty contracts for those employed in Fall 1981. Deans could make requests for additional funds from the "postage" account if needed. Discussion ensued concerning the pros and cons of the Chairpersons Evaluation. Gillis suggested the Program Evaluation form used by the Graduate School might be suitable for undergraduate program review. Management Workshops for chairpersons may be scheduled. Dean Scriven indicated he would explore the possibility of an On-Line Student Records System. Procedure and registration dates for summer 1981 were distributed by Scriven. Sutton raised a question about the reallocation of funds for summer faculty salaries. A document on the Inter-University Consortium on External Degree Programs was distributed. | en_US |
