dc.description.abstract Dean Sutton questioned the services provided the Deans Offices in respect to the Commencement reception. Dr. Gillis was in the process of collecting ideas for the academic program evaluation. A revised version of the Incomplete Grade Policy was distributed and approved. A proposed revision of the Audit Policy was discussed. Budget Hearings for Academic areas are to be held on February 18, 22, and 23. In a memorandum to Gillis, Dean Hotchkiss raised the question of the distribution and assignment of graduate assistants as possibly related to teaching. The value of "Quarter hours offered report" was questioned. Dr. Gillis shared a letter written to President Coffelt by a public school administrator in which the possibility was put forth that certain high schools would have to close down prior to completing the year due to lack of funds. As a last resort, the University could offer to administer a mass G.E.D. exam for such non-graduating high school seniors. Dean Scriven requested that the new admission standards for CAST and Business not be put in place until fall of 1983. en_US
