dc.description.abstract | Chairman's Supplement for 82-83 had not yet been discussed. No subpoena had yet been received by YSU for the Central Michigan University vs Ohio BOR case. Proposed revisions of the Faculty Appointment Form were discussed. The Emeritus Policy was adopted. A television course on Contemporary Health Issues offered by KSU was discussed. Chancellor Moulton reminded President Coffelt of the responsibility to develop procedures for program review and wanted a report on activities by June 15. The change proposed for commencement would permit certification of the degree at the end of the quarter. All work for a degree had to be completed before the day of commencement. Dean Paraska pointed out changes to be instituted for future admissions for the associate degree in Nursing. Curriculum Constraints and Controls were discussed. A Statute of Limitation on Transfer Credits was introduced and motion failed. Discussion ensued as to whether jurisdiction for removing a student from the BS/MD program be vested to the University or the Academic Review and Promotion Subcommittee. The matter of awarding graduation honors based upon work up to the last quarter was considered. Scriven raised a question on the associate degrees. | en_US |
