Dr. Loch circulated the off-campus course survey, to which adjustments had to be made. Course-equivalencies manuals were distributed. The U.S.D.E. was reorganized. Dr. Gillis asked Dean Scriven to move up registration to the week before Christmas. Cuts in state funds ranged from 9 to 13 percent. Dr. Gillis asked for suggestions for emeritus procedures.Veteran's progress was to be closely monitored. Dr. Yozwiak proposed a change in suspension wording in the Bulletin. He also asked for interpretation for credit-no credit for conference courses and how Arts and Science students could gain entrance to courses in Engineering, Business and Computer Technology. Dr. Gillis opened the discussion of the suggested articulation policy. Dr. Yoziwak moved that the Dean's Council approved the Committee report on articulation. It was seconded and passed as amended. Dr. Gillis only had a few deans comment on evaluation. He asked for suggestions on preparing the budget for Summer Sessions, 1983. Materials on the Admission Policy for Medical Laboratory Technology was introduced. Dr. Richley proposed the idea of putting the major on the diploma. |
