dc.description.abstract Announcements include: rebids for the catalog printing, new chairmen, Spring Commencement, thank-you certificates for those who helped with the Diamond Jubilee, the CETA proposal, a Radio Shack donation of a TRS-80, the limited service faculty printouts, over budget on faculty overload, articulation policy, the Annual Off-Campus Annex, cancellation of the June Data Analyzer course, late registration, admissions for the Associate Degree in Nursing, Board meeting for June 18 and not to approve limited service contracts for people aged 70 and up. In Unfinished Business, Dean Scriven presented a proposed late-withdrawal form. The discussion of Dean's List Cards was postponed until input from Student Council had been received. The Deans recommended the Provost and the Senate to adopt the section of the proposed admissions policy entitled "Proposed Admission Practices." In New Business, the proposed University Retention Program, where 200 selected freshmen would be given personal attention by faculty mentors and aides, was discussed. The summary of the Extended Education enrollments in 1982-1983 was distributed. A proposal for General Studies will be discussed at the next meeting. Nominees for the AAUW's Recognition Award for Young Scholars were due. General Studies materials are attached to the minutes. en_US
