dc.description.abstract | A presentation was made to the Deans by Inroads, Inc. The Provost planned to devise a system for overload control. A list of recently approved degree proposals was distributed. Summer Commencement was to be held in Stambaugh Stadium. The University had a contract for the CETA program. The Provost wanted to be informed about all degree completions by faculty in order to modify any effected contracts. It was moved and passed that the Registrar be instructed to process all F to W forms immediately upon receipt of the same from from Deans' offices. The Deans voted to continue using the same card size and procedure for the Dean's List Cards. Dr. Gillis was to send the Deans a description of the options which appear to be available with respect to the change-of-grade policy and solicits our response to same. The College of General Studies was discussed and it was concluded that a new academic unit would not be advisable at this time. The Graduation Application was discussed. | en_US |
