Provost Gillis cited individual items to be part of the Academic Affairs agenda for the Board of Trustees meeting. Individual cases on released time were discussed. The New Report on Excellence in Undergraduate Education was distributed for the Deans who are to make a constructive response. A proposal for a Women's Resource Center was discussed. A copy of concerning activities on December 26, 27, 28 and 31 was distributed. The Intel proposal was distributed. Associate Provost Hotchkiss reported on a meeting with academic advisors. A list of undetermined students was distributed and discussed. Provost Gillis stated there was no disagreement with the idea of paying more than 25 percent for travel abroad. Provost Gillis has proposed to alter the supplementary pay maximums from $4,000 to $6,000. |
