Abstract

The list of prioritized NIE recommendations, agreed upon at the last meeting, had been prepared for the President with only minor changes in wording. A schedule of registrations by QPA within class rank was hoped to be ready for use on an experimental basis for Fall registration. Procedures for selection for Dean's Scholarship recipients were to be revamped. Limitation on scholarships and prizes given publicity were suggested. A steering committee was selected for the North Central Association re-accreditation visit. Ruggles, as representative on the Athletics Council, raised the question of discrepancies in reported scores on standardized tests. Chairs were responsible for substitutes for faculty. Faculty overloads for the Spring should be monitored and kept at a minimum. Questions concerning value added testing were asked. Meshel Hall was scheduled for occupancy by faculty prior to Spring Quarter. Additional Comments closed out the meeting.
