Abstract

The student registration process could be revised to permit student registration by grade point average within class rank. The North Central Association Re-accreditation Steering Committee was to soon make available guidelines and format for the self-study. A review of current class scheduling practices regarding time of offerings was prepared for the Provost. Changes were made in Summer registration dates. A memo from the Student Academic Affairs Committee was reviewed and discussed. There was some conflict between present YSU Board policy and the budgeting of Selective Excellence Program funds. Final Examination Schedule problems were discussed. A listing of approved experimental course offering was distributed. The Academic Standards and Events Committee rejected the deletion of the F to W petitions. The Provost reported on a Computer Center presentation to develop a totally on-line student records system. Miscellaneous announcement concluded the meeting.
