dc.description.abstract | Faculty Development Activities were discussed. A substantive agreement between Akron, Cleveland State and YSU was reached regarding cooperative graduate programming. A draft version of a common application form for the Deans' Scholarship Application was discussed. Scriven reported that changes requested in the last meeting were included in the recent 87-88 Academic Operating Calendar. Scriven raised the question whether a student may use "credit by exam" to earn degree credits which fall within the student's last 45 qh. Gillis recommends that future users of the model 204 terminal begin training now to access student online records. A meeting was planned regarding card access to buildings. The 1987-86 Undergraduate catalog was distributed. Changes in the Fall Faculty Workload reports needed to be reported to the Provost. Scriven reported that the problem with transfers being entered into the on-line system was solved. U.S. Immigration Service requires a specific field of study for foreign students. Classes were not to be rescheduled by the Registrar's office without consulting the Chairman or Dean. Scriven commented on the supply for grade reports. Sutton questioned the scheduling of a 3 qh course on two days. | en_US |
