Abstract

The Northeastern Ohio Provosts was to meet with members of the Regents to discuss the agreement on the graduate programs document. Computer compatibility could be used for course scheduling. The North Central guidelines for preparing reports would be available in February. The Summer Budget was discussed. Students have complained about the "W" showing on the transcript even if the student withdrew during the first week. A meeting was held with OEA to discuss quarters vs. semesters. A new brochure about the Public Service Institute was distributed. The Budget Committee was to meet to consider the proposal to initiate a program recommended by Gateway Marketing Services. Nordtvedt suffered an unsatisfactory experience during at attempt at drop-add. Provost Gillis is going to look into the Student Records System at West Chester University to exchange information. Questions were raised about the DeBartolo Curriculum Development Fund. The President was to meet with the Athletic Council to discuss the role of intercollegiate athletics at YSU. The Fund for Improvement of Post-secondary Education RFP deadline was February 10.
