dc.description.abstract | Approximately 40 students applied to YSU under H.B. 140. Of these, 14 did not meet the admission criteria. Discussion led to the following motion that The Review Committee shall enforce Senate policy with no exceptions and may make recommendations to Senate for revision of admission standards. Provost Gillis would soon provide 1990-1991 Limited Service WHL allocations to colleges so that planning may begin. Ruggles reported on the Star Schools Distance Learning awards. WSBA was under consideration for ACSBP accreditation. A team from the Ohio Department of Education was to be on campus the following week to do a clerical audit in preparation for a Fall 90 Department of Education evaluation. The Social Work program was awarded candidacy status by the Commission on Accreditation. There was a 10% increase in admission applications over last year. Annual reports were to be submitted by August 1. | en_US |
