dc.description.abstract | Deans were reminded to schedule a meeting with Michele Schaper, the Academic Affairs System Support Services Coordinator. Mr. McFadden updated the group on the progress of the YSU Foundation campaign which will kick off in October. The Deans were reminded of year-end deadlines. Discussion was held regarding the FY18 budget. Associate Provost Ball reminded the deans to submit the final summary of action taken or timeline proposed for the elimination of the duplicate programs prior to the deadline for the December board meeting's materials. Provost Abraham announced that a conversation was beginning regarding the potential for a January ("J") term beginning in AY 2018-2019. 2 major gifts to BCHHS would be announced soon. Annual reports were due June 19. Dr. Ball reminded the deans that he was still in need of some final language for the Faculty Credential Guidelines. The director search for Maag Library was underway. The AVPCIO search committee submitted its recommendations to Vice President Neal McNally. Workload plans for AY 17-18 were due April 12. Dean Sanders raised a question regarding centers and program listings in the catalog. The Graduate Student Social was scheduled for August 31. There would be one more June orientation along with three scheduled for July. | en_US |
