dc.description.abstract The Jamail E. Johnson Drive street sign sits above the Indiana Avenue street sign to honor Jamail Johnson's act of heroism. YSU Advisement strategies for students differ from college to college. A downtown restaurant, The Kitchen Post, closes its doors. YSU fraternity membership is on the decline. The Department of Kinesiology and Sports Science is offering a class on marksmanship. The YSU community participates in a diversity and inclusion workshop. Gals That Brunch Youngstown brings women together (over brunch) and support to each other and the community. Local and campus events for Valentines Day are given. The Pubcade brings together people interested in video games, comics and anime. Federal Frenzy Face-Off took place February 7th where five local musicians faced off to see who will be the featured musician for Federal Frenzy in April. Rock Musicians at YSU are featured and include Northern Whale, Fifth & Aurora, and Krista Ritz. The Dance Theatre of Harlem performs at the DeYor. On February 8, the YSU athletics department welcomed eight new members into the YSU Athletics Hall of Fame. The men's and women's basketball teams tough it out. Baseball legend Ken Griffey Sr. was one of the speakers during the First Pitch Breakfast. YSU baseball season opens February 14. YSU introduces its new head football coach, Doug Phillips. en_US
