dc.description.abstract Michael I. Monus of Youngstown, Mahoning Valley entrepreneur, business and community leader and trustee of YSU has been selected to receive the prestigious Herman W. Lay Award from the Association of Private Enterprise Education. YSU's new John J. McDonough Museum of Art will be built on YSU property located between Meshel Hall and Bliss Hall. The University Board of Trustees approved the recommended location. The University's office annex, now located on the site of the proposed museum, will be razed. en_US
