dc.description.abstract “Quasimodo,” a new rock musical based upon Victor Hugo’s classic novel “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” made its world premiere at Byrdcliffe Barn, near Woodstock, New York. Two writers of the musical, Karen Sunde and Christopher Martin, and the two composers, Bob Jewett and Jack Maeby, spent three weeks at YSU in 1986 perfecting the musical score with students and area performers. Al Bright, professor of Art at YSU, will have his work exhibited in Federal Plaza, Youngstown, on August 16. Summer commencement graduate honors are explained. en_US
