dc.description.abstract YSU's Student Government and the Programs and Activities Council will sponsor a Red Cross blood drive May 19th and 20th. Dr. Paul E. Dalbec of Austintown, professor of physics at YSU, has been appointed to associate membership in the Eitel Institute for Silicate Research at the University of Toledo. The Black Studies program at YSU will sponsor a lecture by the Rev. Tyrone Crider, director of admissions at Central State University, Wilberforce. Dr. George Sutton, speaker at YSU's Honors Convocation Tuesday night, told honor students, parents, friends and faculty attending the program in Kilcawley Center that a series of hard decisions were behind the achievements of every person present. en_US
