dc.description.abstract The University’s honors program remained a plan on paper. In response to health concerns, YSU disposed of six photocopiers using a suspect chemical. The YSU housing director announced that a co-ed dormitory was in the works. Student volunteers worked with neglected and abused juveniles through the Volunteers in Corrections (VIC) program. The Major Events chairman announced that concert promoters shunned YSU, due to the dire economic situation in Youngstown. en_US
