dc.description.abstract This edition of the Jambar is dedicated to The Vindicator. The Vindicator closed its doors on August 31 after 150 years of printing. The Vindicator staff reflected on their careers from their first print to final print. Three YSU professors (Richard Logan, Bill Lewis, and Mark Sweetwood) shed light on their 76 combined years at Vindy. Graig Graziosi and Samantha Phillips, two YSU graduates, told Youngstown's narrative while working as news reporters at The Vindicator. The YSU community reacts to The Vindicator's closing. Articles show YSU through the Vindicator's eyes. The Vindicator's influence on local area arts and performances are given. Former sports editor, Ed Puskas, looks back at his career at the Vindy. The Jambar questions "What is next for the future of journalism in Youngstown?" YSU men's tennis gets into the swing of things. The YSU penguins football team is excited for the home debut of the season. en_US
