dc.description.abstract |
Basic features of the some microprocessors are discussed. Internal operation of a typical microcomputer was investigated. Special software features of a 4040 microprocessor are discussed. Part of the family (MCS-40) of peripheral devices that can be employed with the 4040 microprocessor are presented. A software system (assembly language + simulator) was developed. The test procedure to verify the operation of the software is given and a typical application follows. The software developed serves to decrease program developed time of a 4040 based microcomputer system. |
