dc.description.abstract Due to low enrollment, programs, classes and faculty positions are being evaluated as a way to adjust budget issues. Despite last week's spike in COVID-19 cases, the cases this week decline. With lack of funding, students are fighting to save some programs from being cut such as creative writing and the Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts program. The fifth annual Youngstown Marathon ran through Mill Creek Metroparks, the streets of YSU's campus and ended at Second Sole in Boardman on Sunday, Oct. 24. Tips are given to stay protected during flu season. YSU graduate, Ryan Martino, returns to speak about his engineering background. Pete's Clean Team needs student employees. YSU's department of theater and dance is opening "Little Shop of Horrors" at Ford Theater this weekend. Professor Adam Fuller creates a book about neoconservatives. YSU hosted a lecture Oct. 20 with chief marketing officer of Netflix, Bozoma Saint John. The Butler Institute of American Art picked several initial pieces to be placed around Youngstown as part of a Youngstown CityScape project, but the pieces were criticized by First-Ward Councilman Julius Oliver for not having a better representation of minorities. YSU sport shorts are given. YSU volleyball teams fell against Cleveland State University in a 3-1 contest. The YSU football team loses on the road again. en_US
