dc.description.abstract Students rally outside of Tod Hall before they submit their petition to save Jacob Labendz and the Center for Jewish and Holocaust Studies.YSU received a $2.3 million grand from the Air Force research laboratory to develop a hub-and-spoke consortium for hybrid manufacturing. The reorganization of Student Affairs leads to an increase in collaboration. Student Counseling Services offers new support groups for students. Tips are given on how to stay safe and be proactive in social settings. A Poetry Club has started this semester on campus. The annual Winter Market takes place at B&O Station Banquet Hall. Penguins have fun in the snow after a winter storm dumped 13 inches of snow on campus. Teams and groups of all kinds are encouraged to join the Andrews Student Recreation and Wellness Center's team building and challenge course program. YSU's track and field team breaks records during the YSU Icebreaker on December 3, 2021 and at the YSU Collegiate Invitation on January 21. Women's bowling rolls into the spring season with a striking start. Basketball senior Michael Akuchie scored his 1000th career point Jan. 13 against Northern Kentucky.
