dc.description.abstract Youngstown State University's first-year engineering program has moved to the Excellence Training Center. The COVID-19 pandemic is causing anxiety for YSU students. The number of reported COVID-19 cases at YSU are at a new low for the spring semester. YSU alumnus, Gerald "Jerry" Nunziato is promoted to the rank of colonel in the United States Army. Tips and tricks are given for writing research papers. The program from the Recreation and Wellness Center, Adventure Recreation, is featured. Jessica Johnson, a senior marketing and management major, has qualified to compete in a national power-lifting competition. Lit Youngstown hosts a Food for Thought discussion series with this year's theme focusing on "writer-as-subject." In the Weller Gallery Show at Mill Creek MetroParks, the Mahoning Valley Watercolor Society is presenting its artwork in an exhibit called, 'A Splash of Color." Love advice from The Jambar staff is given and students talk about some of their worst dates. The women's golf team splits matches on the first day of the Motor City Cup. The men's basketball team heats up with a four straight winning streak. The women's basketball team has tied the school record for most Horizon League wins with 13, and it moved a half game ahead to reclaim sole possession of first place in the conference standings. en_US
